Biography

Timothy is a third year PhD student in the Computer Science & Informatics program at Emory University.

His research interests broadly encompass developing novel machine learning methods that incorporate aspects of trustworthy machine learning, such as model explainability and interpretability, algorithmic fairness, and safety, into automated decision-support systems with applications in healthcare.

The ultimate goal of his research is to leverage current breakthroughs in computing to tackle important problems in healthcare research and increase access to underserved communities.
